Her reality

as i moved from room to room today ~ straightening pictures, fluffing pillows {no karate chop in our house}, rearranging stuff in the closet, curating bookshelves, FANNING ~ i tried to understand how SHC must perceive her reality.

she is a seven year old with a mother who MUST. HAVE. ORDER. at all times. forts have a life span of about eighteen minutes before i lose my religion. legos are banished to the back of the closet. clothing moves from drawer to drawer as a i organize and re-organize. magazines are read and tossed. and slime. i can't even.

i worry that i will 'inspire' her to become ocd | sorry | ordered.

is this the very definition of bad mom?
