The day the top stopped spinning

i will not ever forget the look in CTC's eyes. i was waking from an anesthesia induced sleep {best. sleep. ever.} i had gone in for my first colonoscopy thinking they would find some colitis. the doctor found something alright. a mass. that appeared malignant.

at that very moment, i realized my top had stopped spinning.
